Hương vị: Có vị thanh, ngọt nhẹ, không quá cay nồng. Mùi thơm đặc trưng, dễ chịu và không bị hôi miệng khi ăn sống. Nguồn gốc và sự khác biệt Đất đai và khí hậu: Tỏi được trồng trên đất đặc biệt của đảo Lý Sơn, là sự kết hợp giữa cát biển và nham thạch núi lửa đã phong hóa. Điều kiện thời tiết khắc nghiệt cũng góp phần tạo nên hương vị độc đáo. "Vương quốc tỏi": Đảo Lý Sơn nổi tiếng với những cánh đồng tỏi xanh ngát, được ví như "vương quốc tỏi".
