Lạc tiên là một loại cây dây leo thường mọc hoang ở vùng đồi núi hoang dã. Đây cũng là một trong những loại dược liệu tự nhiên thường được dùng để trị mất ngủ hiệu quả. Cây còn có tên gọi khác là dây chùm bao, cây nhãn lồng, dây bầu đường, tây phiên liên. Nhãn lồng có tên khoa học là Passiflora foetida L., thuộc họ Passifloraceae.
Đặc điểm của cây lạc tiên
Cây thuộc dạng cây dây leo, xung quanh thân có nhiều tua cuốn và trong dây rỗng. Nhìn thoáng qua trông rất giống dây mướp, toàn thân có lông tơ mềm, nhỏ. Cây lạc tiên hay còn gọi là rau lạc tiên, được dân gian ứng dụng rộng rãi trong chế biến các món ăn. Lạc tiên khô có màu vàng nâu, được dùng làm thuốc chữa bệnh.

Đây là một loại thảo dược lành tính. Vì vậy hầu hết các bộ phận của cây đều có thể được thu hái về làm thuốc hoặc chế biến món ăn. Điển hình như dây (thân), lá, hoa, quả. Tuy nhiên, trừ phần rễ hay củ lạc tiên ra là không thể sử dụng được.

Cách sử dụng lạc tiên
- Lấy khoảng 20 – 40gram Lạc Tiên khô
- Hãm với 500ml nước, sau đó sử dụng, có thể làm thức uống hằng ngày
Nên uống trước khi đi ngủ 15 phút để đạt hiệu quả cao nhất. Lạc Tiên có vị ngọt, tính mát, rất dễ sử dụng.
